  What makes them "Theocratic" is that everyone who plays loses.

  On the other hand, I suppose some people will figure out that the time they spend PLAYING "House2House" is as effective, results-wise, as real-life "House 2 House."

  "It's raining; why don't we put on a big pot of coffee and play "House2House" for a few hours? We can still count the time..."

  most of you folks have been through hell, but are still loving souls.

  i'm reeeally impressed and glad to be here.. my question is at the end of this.

  That will bring this pathetic and doomed romance to an appropriate end. You will then be able to get over it and move on with your life.

  A philosophical point: Baby Jesus might try to argue otherwise, but familial obligation flows in the same direction as TIME. It is PARENTS who have an obligation to the children they brought forth, not the other way around. Your children ought not be your SLAVES.   Did I imagine a brief thaw in the Watchtower injunction against going to university?

  okay i was talking to an elder and he said me going to university was a bad idea and i should have listened to the society and not gone.

  but i said that when i went to university the watchtower was saying it might not be a bad idea to go to, as long as you do it for the "right reasons", don't associate with worldly people, and keep clear of "damaging ideas".

  but basically they said it was okay, in this "changing world" and job market to go to university.
